PAELLA COOKING CLASS ON THE ULTREIA PATIO
Saturday, April 18th 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
$75 per person
Join paella pros Jennifer Jasinski and Adam Branz to explore (and taste) the secrets to a great paella from techniques to ingredients to the Spanish culture associated with this classic dish. While guests sip a complimentary glass of sangria, chefs Adam and Jen will be demonstrating a traditional Paella Valenciana – the most well-known and recognizable saffron scented paella with Bomba rice, chorizo garlic, chicken, mussels, shrimp, beans and lemon. Ultreia pastry chef Megan Bernal will take the class through the preparation of Pastel de Nata – the traditional Portuguese custard tart. A time-honored Ensalada Verde will round out the feast. We’ll even have home paella kits including Bomba rice, a paella pan, chorizo and saffron available for sale.
